Have you been enjoying the process of creating new energies and goals for this New Year? In my last blog I talked about creating your goals from your heart.
Many people are super energized as they start the year as they think about all that they want to create. Then, after a few weeks they get bogged down with the hows, the timing, etc., and that once boundless energy begins to fade.
Where are you this week? If you are still feeling pumped that's great! Keep going!! If you lost some of your motivation I have tip that can help you stay aligned with the momentum you need to create what you desire. It is true that thoughts become things, but how we feel is equally important. When we can physically feel the energy of our desire we tap into the energy of creation. I encourage you to get excited about your dream and allow that excitement to build.
I, too, started strong this year, and I felt tremendous momentum and energy as I stretched outside of my comfort zone toward my goals. Then the usual culprit, my head, got in the way. I began feeling the pressure I put on myself. One day I took a yoga class which did wonders to shift me out of my head and back into my body, helping me to better feel what it is I am striving for. It's hard to feel when you aren’t connecting with your body. With each pose, breath, and movement of my body I was completely focused and in the moment. It’s in moments like these you are creating with your mind, body and Spirit fully engaged and in complete alignment.
At your work desk sometimes you are only working with the mind, and then the body starts to ache. You lose focus on the task at hand as you try to figure out what is causing your body to ache. Or, you may feel bored because you have ignored your Spirit. In these moments it becomes more difficult to create because you are out of alignment.
In order to create your greatest goals, remember to fully engage your body, mind and Spirit. Get out your list that you created at the first of the year. Go outside, take a walk or a yoga class. Do something that energizes your body. Then, reread your list and visualize yourself realizing your dreams. Feel what that would feel like with your whole body. Engage all of your senses. With the vision of your goal in mind, enjoy feeling it in your body and move with confidence as it brings excitement and joy to your Spirit.
Breathe, feel and listen. You may notice new ideas arise as your goal is being manifested and created with ease.
